"The John Paul II Polish Cultural Centre was blessed by the Most Reverend Matthew Ustrzycki and officially opened by Reverend Stanley Bak, OMI, Mayor Hazel McCallion and Lady Misek, President, Maximilian Kolbe Foundation on September 17, 1994.
The Center was established to provide residents of the Mississauga community a place to allow active participation in cultural and social activities. Over the years, the Centre has become a hub of local events and business engagement offering a wide array of services and venues for social activities, private gatherings, educational and recreational programs.
The John Paul 2 Polish Cultural Centre is governed by the Maximilian Kolbe Foundation and the Board of Directors."
